Sexual Orientation: Straight Appearance: Finn stands at 6'3" with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He's well muscled from playing football. Personality: Deep down, Finn is a gentle soul. Even though he'll stand idly by as his friends throw another student into a dumpster, he'll stop them long enough to hold the kid's designer jacket for him so it doesn't get ruined because he's thoughtful that way. He was raised to do the right thing, even though his jock friends and reputation prevent him from always acting on his beliefs.
He's a little dense and gullible (after all, his girlfriend has him thinking that he caused her to get pregnant when he ejaculated in a hot tub...).
History: Finn is the only Hudson child, and the man of the family. His father died fighting in the Middle East when Finn was young, leaving Finn's mom to raise him all by herself. They never had much money, but they were always pretty happy. During a chance encounter with a "Lawn Specialist" as a child, Finn discovered that he had a natural talent for singing As he grew older, he abandoned his thoughts of a singing career for football, so he could go to college and make his mother proud of him.
In school, Finn was always popular. He had many friends, and was well liked among the other children. In high school, Finn stared playing quarterback for the football team at William McKinley High. During a driving lesson that his mother was giving to him before he went to take his permit test, Finn hit the mailman with the van he was driving. He uses that mental image to try and keep himself from "erupting" when making out with his girlfriend of just over six months, Quinn Fabray, who is part of the cheerleading squad, or the "Cherrio's".
During his sophomore year, Finn was discovered singing in the shower by Will Schuester, the school's Spanish teacher turned Glee Club director. Will, desperate to find a compentent male lead, blackmailed Finn into joining Glee by pretending to find marijuana in Finn's locker.
Upon joining Glee, Finn met Rachel Berry, the over zealous, intense and opinionated female lead with a voice like an angel. At first, Finn found her a bit annoying, and kind of bizzare, but the more he got to know Rachel, the more he found himself connecting with her. He even found himself enjoying the Glee club more than he ever imagined. The more fun he found himself having, the more his unknown feelings for Rachel grew, until one day after Rachel had helped him with his singing, he kissed her. When he realized what he was doing, he ran from the room leaving behind a very hurt and confused Rachel. The next day, Quinn and a couple of her Cherrio friends tried out for the Glee club so she could keep an eye on Finn.
Finn fought with his feelings for Rachel, and was on the verge of leaving Quinn to be with her when Quinn dropped a bomb on his entire reality: she was pregnant, and the baby was his. She fed him some story about how he got her pregnant when he accidentally ejaculated in a hot tub, but in reality, the baby belongs to Finn's best friend, Puck, but Finn is still clueless. Finn pushed aside any and all feelings he had for Rachel to do the right thing and be a good father for Quinn's baby.
After Mr. Schuester gave away a couple of solo's that Rachel thought she deserved, she quit Glee to star in the school musical. Mr. Schue, in a desperate attempt to get a descent female lead, tracked down one of his old schoolmates who technically never graduated high school and brought her in as Rachel's replacement. Finn didn't much care for April, and was convinced that Rachel was a much better singer. After a long talk with the guidance councilor, Finn decided that his only chance of getting a full ride to go to College was to get a music scholarship and he needed Rachel to do that. So he decided to go on a quest to bring Rachel back to Glee. Unfortunately for poor Rachel, Finn used her feelings for him to get her to rejoin Glee, even though he had no intention of leaving Quinn.
He got her to rejoin Glee, but she ended up leaving when she discovered that Quinn was pregnant with Finn's baby. She ended up coming back, yet again, on the night of their big performance after April showed up drunk and couldn't perform the last number.
Even now, Finn still struggles with the fact that he cares for Rachel. After all, Rachel makes him feel like he's special, like he has a future. Quinn on the other hand usually only drags him down.
In-Game History: Finn Hudson is one of the blissfully irrelevant at Harmony High. While he's not popular, he's not at the bottom of the social pyramid either. He discovered a talent for singing at a very young age, and has pursued it without regret. He's landed the lead in numerous musical productions, and he also does the drums and backup vocals for his band "The White Clocks".
He also is the male lead in Harmony High's Drama Club, and desperately looking for a competent female lead who isn't a complete idiot.
Sometimes, Finn has a longing urge to play football, though he has no idea why considering he's never played the sport in his life.
